We have an immediate opening and are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our Team.

Who You Are…
You are an experienced Assistant Site Superintendent, with recent and extensive residential experience, who is committed to the job site safety, project quality, and successful teamwork.

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be
- Ensuring construction site personnel safety
- Ensuring all established site processes are being properly maintained and the required quality standards for the project are attained
- Providing leadership and management to the parkade, landscape and water feature sub-trades
- Working towards on-schedule completion of the project
- Running field activities responsibly and to achieve Client’s expectations
- Providing expertise, guidance and supervision of the field operations


Your Key Responsibilities will include
• Daily supervision and coordination of the sub-trades and contractors
• Drawings and submittals overview
• Conducting site inspections for efficient, coordinated and cost-effective execution of the project
• Completing Daily Logs and reporting to the Site Superintendent daily
• Monitoring site progress and initiating any corrective actions required
• Motivating all field forces, including sub-trades, to complete the work safely, on-time and to an acceptable standard of quality
• Assisting Project Team with the closeout documents, including manuals, as-builts and warranties
• Attending site meetings and providing input for sub-trades and contractors
• Resolution of the site problems and conflicts in a professional manner
• Maintaining good working relationship with the Team, Client, consultants and subtrades, and regulatory authorities


Your Experience and Qualifications include
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience (preferably with a Construction Manager or General Contractor)
- Recent proven strong experience with concrete high-rise residential development
- Ability to interpret construction documents, including contracts and schedules
- Commitment to the job site safety and project quality
- Ability to connect with sub-trades and lead by establishing trust
- Excellent understanding of construction techniques and materials
- Excellent knowledge of the Lower Mainland and BC construction industry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Computer skills and various software experience
